Description
The teapot KEIZU rounds off the tableware collection of Maomi. Inspired by traditional Asian craftsmanship and adapted to the needs of today, the small teapot delights equally with its haptics and aesthetics. The reduced design and elegant matte-black color are sure to make an impression.
The design of the KEIZU teapot was derived from “Kyusu” – so-calledtraditional Japanese teapots, which areusually made of high-quality red volcanic clay. The term “Kyusu” simply means “teapot“ but is often used colloquially forteapots with a handle on the side.
Originally from ancient China, they have found their way into Japanese culture over the centuries and are mainly used to prepare Japanese green tea.
